I thought I would share with you some hot off the press insights on how the Marin Real Estate Market is performing. Ed Lynch, our Compass Marin County Manager, shared the following with our team yesterday.

There is a lot of talk about the real estate market being down dramatically over 2021, which we all agree was unsustainable. Below are some Marin statistics for single family homes for the month of September, 2019, 2021 and 2022.

To put it in perspective, we appear to be back to a normal market, which is still solid for Marin.

Unit volume for September 2022 is down 29% over 2021 but flat over 2019.

Volume for September 2022 is down 27% over 2021 but up 28% over 2019.
